Hololens 2 Launch

Our embedded team at Rational (now Designit NA) had the pleasure to collaborate on the Hololens 2 VR launch. We were tasked with crafting a visual experience for several B2B and future B2C facing pages.
We worked closely with the brand team to comp the homepage to feature the beautiful product imagery as the point of focus. We used dark mode interface with minor pops of color to not distract from the primary messaging. While doing so, we constantly tested contrast ratios for accessibility.
While designing these pages, we had to work around limitations and guidelines within Microsoft’s internal CMS, Red Tiger. We pitched a few new components and modules to live within the library and redlined to development for production.
